being unreasonable
"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man."

I do not agree with this in its entirely. I would more closely submit that a reasonable person works with both, adapting themselves as well and the world around them for an acceptable state. To agree with George Bernard would mean that rather than change your world you would change yourself to adapt. Many things are changeable and under reasonable consideration should be changed. Other things as current cannot be changed; these should be worked with in ones ability to modify one to come to grace. To ponder and then state with absolute such insight to behavior in only extreme end color, (black and white), leaves out all the nuance of color in-between. If one cannot see clearly then change the world not yourself and get glasses. I say progress depends on an evolutionary blend with living in a state of constant change, (yourself as well as your world around you). Adapt or feel the heat of the oncoming fire of reality and change.
